Our first RV didn’t come with slide toppers. That meant hauling a ladder with us everywhere so I could sweep off the top of the slides when we left somewhere. Obviously not an ideal thing. So after having this RV for 4 and a half years, we finally got slide toppers. It was definitely a nice upgrade and something I won’t do without on any future RVs. We sold that trailer a year later, but the newer one we bought already had the toppers!
The bottom line is… if you’re buying an RV with slides, hopefully it has slide toppers. If not, I highly recommend getting them installed.
